When a black citizen was sleeping in the car , United State police wanted to get in custody.When he resisted,got shot dead by police. Despite to protests, police murder doesn’t stop in the last weeks. Last night, the police went to the parking lot of a fast food restaurant upon notice in Atlanta, Georgia. Police officers wanted to take the 27-year-old black Rayshard Brooks, who was sleeping in his car in the parking area, from the car and wanted to detain him.
While Brooks was shot with a stun gun while he was resisting the police, then he took the stun gun in the hands of the police and the moments he escaped from the scene were reflected on the security cameras.The police shot and killed Brooks while he ran away.
Demonstrations have taken place across the US and across the world since Floyd’s death.
Rayshard Brooks’s cousin spoke
He spoke on behalf of his family outside the Wendy’s on University Avenue Saturday afternoon. He didn’t gave his name to media because of he should be known as “Rayshard Brooks.”
While he spoken, was so emotional, ”I don’t know how to do this, because I never knew I was going to have to do this. I watched this on the internet, from the whole George Floyd situation to coming together like we’re doing, and this whole thing landed on my doorstep,” he said. “I thought Atlanta was higher than that; I thought we were bigger than that.”
Mr Trump moved the rally from 19 June to one day later, following criticism. The location was also controversial as Tulsa saw one of the worst massacres of black people in US history in 1921.
Atlanta police chief resigns over shooting of Rayshard Brooks
Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said Erika Shields handed in her resignation on Saturday.
Mayor Bottoms explained. “Because of her desire that Atlanta be a model of what meaningful reform should look like across this country Chief Shields has offered to immediately step aside as Police Chief so that the city may move forward with urgency and rebuilding the trust so desperately needed throughout our communities,”
